Scope of Project: The Tall Building Inventory fulfills the first component of the Joint Project Regarding Earthquake Damage to Tall Buildings, Planned Demolition, and Associated Measures agreed upon by Boğaziçi University and the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. The first component of the agreement calls for the preparation of a GIS-based (Geographic Information Systems) inventory of existing tall buildings (at least 20 floors) in Istanbul and throughout Turkey.
