Scope of Project: Saudi Aramco geotechical data stored in both paper and electronic formats was used to develop a spatial database. The database was developed based on geotechnical, geologic, and geophysical analyses using input data from sources such as borehole logs, laboratory tests, and geophysical records.

Scope of Project: In seeking effective emergency management in earthquake-prone Istanbul, leaders of responsible parties desire the immediate access to and use of spatial data to inform decisions regarding emergency response and quickly disseminate information.  UAVs will play a key role by accelerating the processes of data collection, analysis, and communication. A system was devised to collect post-event aerial photography using a UAV, conduct immediate mosaicking of photos, and automatically identify damaged buildings.
